Hooray for this entry, hooray for this blog, hooray for de-junking! I've started to do it every season change, cycling fall/winter items & spring/summer ones. I've learned to be more ruthless, but then a sale somewhere leads me to refill with stuff I thought I'd never buy again (sigh.) Next entry, I want to know what it makes the most sense to ADD to the closet that won't end up recycled. Question -- the Lepore leather skirt got me wondering how short a skirt should a 50+ woman wear. Is mid-thigh OK if you've got the legs?

Your blog is sooooo good all I have to do is buy what you mention! And throw out most of what I own. Works for me! Thanks! Find us some nice sweaters, would you please. the kind that cover up those growing waistlines & hips – that make for a nice sleek and straight look.

1) I love the format of the blog entries, interspersed with photos of suggested shapes and items. You'll see my comment & question.
2) I own nearly the entire Kamali Walmart line. Not only are they dirt cheap, they are classic Kamali shapes (including the wonderful batwing ccocoon thing.) And the jersey is much thicker and wears much better than the line she did for Spiegel. And if you think they're dirt cheap online, try in-store! Every time I'm on the road, I scour every store along the road, and the 3 near me, and almost always find pieces marked down. I got the red side-zip turtleneck dress for $5. No kidding. And I just wore it to a board meeting and was showered with complements.
